Is Ferrari already getting too greedy with its LaFerrari?

Apparently, Fiat's Ferrari thinks it can squeeze a bit more mulah from the world's elite car buyers. Simultaneous to its debut at this year's Geneva Motor Show, Ferrari announced that all 499 examples of its new LaFerrari super-duper car had been sold at for around $1.7 million each. Not bad, eh? But smelling an opportunity to up-sell, Autocar is saying the Italian firm will spit out an even more "extreme" LeFerrari, with of course, a more extreme price. Apparently, only 10 copies of the new, ultra-exclusive LaFerrari will be produced. Its 950 horsepower gas V12-electric motor powertrain remains. But by lightening the current supercar's some 255 kilograms (to get it under 1,000 kg) would obviously offer a better power-to-weight ratio. And the price? Somewhere between $4.7 and $7.8 million, give or take a few toonies.
