So it was no surprise to find the 2015 Mercedes-Benz S 63 AMG Coupe appear for the first time here in NYC; a high-performance take on the German automaker’s full-size S Class two-door coupe that recently replaced the outgoing CL 63 AMG. As part of a thorough renewal that’s already seen recent introductions of its Range Rover subbrand models, Tata Motors’ Land Rover brand is now turning to its Discovery range (sold in Canada as the compact LR2 and midszie LR4) with the world premiere of the Land Rover Discovery Vision Concept, a preview of what the next-generation LR4 (also sold, as the Discovery in other markets) or LR2 could look like. 2014 New York: 2015 Infiniti QX80

As per its retitled Q70/L sedan stable-mate, last year’s Infiniti QX56 is being renamed for 2015, now called the QX80. Also like the Q70 sedan, the all-wheel-drive, full-size, body-on-frame, luxury-sports-utility-vehicle receives only mild styling updates, limited to some new front and rear fascias (primarily headlights and taillights and a restyled grille), some small interior updates and the addition of a new, topline QX80 Limited model. 2014 New York: 2015 Infiniti Q70/L

As part of the Nissan premium brand’s renaming program, for 2015 last year’s five-passenger Infiniti M midsize luxury-sports sedan has been renamed Q70. Along with the name change, the rear- and all-wheel-drive luxury four-door also gets some exterior styling tweaks with new head- and taillights and for the first time offered in regular and long-wheelbase versions.
