All the bits and pieces for the Volkswagen Golf SportWagen TDI 4Motion Concept currently exist: the body comes from the next-generation Golf SportWagen coming to Canada; the TDI engine is the updated turbo-diesel that also debuted here in New York in the 2015 Jetta; and the manual transmission is already standard Golf fare. Just in time to drive to the cottage this summer, Subaru debuted its redesigned 2015 Outback, the SUV-wannabe wagon version of the all-new 2015 Subaru Legacy Sedan. Since its debut as a tape-and-decal model for 1994, Subaru has pitched its Outback as “the adventure-ready mid-size SUV alternative provides stellar car-like handling with the versatility of an SUV”, and little has changed for 2015. As previewed by the Nissan Resonance Concept from the 2013 Detroit auto show comes the production 2015 Nissan Murano. First seen in 2002, the original Murano was one of the first midszie crossovers — and a stylish one at that. And the new, third-generation continues that tradition with such dramatic touches such as its so-called “V-Motion” nose, floating D-pillars and the Japanese automaker’s distinctive boomerang-shaped head- and taillights.
