2014 Geneva Motor Show: Hyundai Intrado Concept

GENEVA – In addition to introducing the new 2015 Hyundai Genesis luxury sedan to the European market here in Geneva, the South Korean automaker also showed off its Intrado Concept, a compact crossover that hints at not only the future styling of the next Tucson but also Hyundai’s hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle efforts.
Just as Hyundai is launching a hydrogen Tucson fuel-cell vehicle in the U.S. market this spring, a next-generation hydrogen fuel-cell stack and a 36 kW li-ion battery gives the Intrado a driving range of “around” 600 kilometres. And to give farther evidence that a vehicle like the Intrado will become available at a dealer near you shortly, Hyundai said the concept is “far more than a styling exercise.”
